In Search of a Midnight Kiss

"LA is where love comes to die"

an expression both true and false.
love dies regardless of location.

if ever it dies, because for some, feelings need to have existed for them to die.
but who cannot love "In Search of a Midnight Kiss"

Filmmaker, Alex Holdridge proves on screen that Los Angeles has its moments. And the moment 12am New Years Day strikes: life, love, sex, and truth explode in your face
. Shooting in black and white, not only added to the romantic qualities of the film, but it also lets the audience focus on the developing emotions of Wilson (Scoot McNairy) and Vivian (Sara Simmonds). Wilson (the "Misanthrope") a lonely and cynical 29 year old guy is persuaded by a friend to list a personal ad on Craig's list. His ad is answered by Vivian, a chaotic strong-willed woman, who adds to the hell Wilson is feeling. No doubt the abandon theatres and streets of LA can erase the hell of ex-girlfriends, no job, and jealous lovers.

ive been to LA more than a couple of times but i was never able to see its romantic qualities until this movie
no matter how cynical or delusional you are about love.
believing in it is better than being without it.
what is worse is not being able to feel it.

12am approaches
if ever there was anything you had to say or do
drunk or sober
regardless of location
let go
say it

or better do as you feel

a kiss in traffic, in an LA cafe, the metro, street, in an abandoned theatre.

searching for it on the Craig's list is not my recommend way though, maybe in a less creepy way.

but a midnight kiss is vital

even if there is nothing of that moment left the morning after, get in your car
/the metro, but get to your midnight lover.
try it
